Engineering

In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, development and testing for Xnergy wireless power and power conversion products. This includes various stages in a product’s life cycle such as concept/ architecture, prototyping, evaluation, production transfer, manufacturing, and maintenance. You will work closely with the R&D team (hardware, firmware, and software engineers) to contribute to power converter design and shape the development of our future product strategies.

You are expected to provide theoretical knowledge and hands on skill in mechanical design, stress and strength, thermal, vibration, acoustic noise relevant to product.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Drive all design aspects of mechanical systems in product, i.e., structures, assembly, reliability, PCB, electro-mechanics parts, thermal management, vibration/shock/drop, acoustic noise, etc.
  • Contribute to mechanical aspect of product in all phases of the development life cycle including requirements analysis, architecture, design, manufacturability, testing, and release to ensure high quality product.
  • Work closely with R&D team, field applications, production teams, vendors, and suppliers for specifications, design, prototyping, and fabrication locally and remotely.
  • Perform mechanical design and design optimization involving 3D modelling/2D drawing, tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, structure analysis, process and tooling (stamping, die casting, moulding).
  • Develop test jigs, tools, testing methods, and verification process.
  • Produce documentation for mechanical design (3D 2D parts, assemblies, drawings) and test results.
  • Finding root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and product improvement as well as in field escalations.
  • Contribute to related technology roadmaps, features development, next generation product.
  • Plan and schedule to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
  • Possess minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in products. Power-related products will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding and experience in product design cycle and documentation process.
  • Solid experience with CAD software, such as Solidworks is a must.
  • Knowledge and experience in product chassis design, assembly, thermal management, airflow, ingress protection, vibration, acoustic noise, testing, and design of experiment. 
  • Familiar with fabrication methods (sheet metal fabrication, CNC, 3D printer, injection moulding, die casting) and materials (metal, plastic, thermal related materials). 
  • Experience in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design For Assembly), tolerance analysis, cost analysis. 
  • Familiar with good design and engineering practices in industry. 
  • Experience working with supply chains and manufacturers.
  • Strong practical knowledge on engineering drawing, testing, troubleshooting, including familiarity with equipment. 
  • Self-driven, proactive, assertive, organised, resourceful, disciplined, and able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, team environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese language.
  • Able to work in start-up environment with global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional engagements.

In this role, you will be responsible for all Electrical and Electronics/Power Electronics concepts, design and fabrication for high power (e.g. 22 kW and above) new contactless charger products.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Design and implement power/control circuit for power converters, conduct design validation tests and work cross-functionally with other development groups.
  • Find root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and in field escalations.
  • Evaluate and enable innovative solutions next-generation technology.
  • Brainstorm with marketing team and system lead to propose new features or define next generation product.
  • Create schematic and PCB layouts and maintain PCB library.
  • Plan and schedule to meet goals, deliverables and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power Electronics Engineering.
  • Possess minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possess technical knowledge in power electronics converters design.
  • Experience in full product lifecycle including requirements, specifications, design, prototyping, certification qualification and mass production.
  • Solid background and understanding as well as strong interests in power electronics and power converters design, e.g., AC/DC, PFC, DC/DC, DC/AC, LLC or other resonant converters.
  • Good fundamentals in circuit design, circuit analysis and simulations, analog electronics, and synthesis skills.
  • Good understanding of the characteristics of power semiconductors/passives components. Experience with wideband gap device, e.g., SiC and GaN is preferred.
  • Strong practical and hands-on experience in PCB/PCA development (preferable Altium Designer), PCB layout design, schematics, library environment and PCBA production for product.
  • Solid knowledge with CAD tool, circuit troubleshooting, debugging tools and soldering.
  • Good interpersonal skills to enable global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional engagements.
  • Able to work in a start-up environment.

Must-Haves

  • Knowledge of PCB schematic and layout design (preferably with Altium).
  • At least 1 year experience in PCB schematic and layout design.
  • Understands basic/general EE language
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of the firmware and embedded control algorithm for Xnergy wireless power and power conversion products. This includes various stages in a product’s life cycle such as concept/ architecture, prototyping, evaluation, production ready firmware, manufacturing, and maintenance. You will work closely with the R&D team (hardware, firmware, and software engineers) to contribute to power converter design and shape the development of our future product strategies.

You are expected to provide theoretical knowledge and hands on skill in power electronics control and algorithm, firmware architecture, microcontrollers, power management strategies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control algorithms and embedded firmware for high-power converters based on DSP/MCU using C/C++ programming language and model-based design methodology in line with the applied normative and standards practice.
  • Apply knowledge of CAN, SPI, USB, I2C, RS485, RS232 communication protocols to product development.
  • Plan and execute testing strategy including bench testing, validation testing, unit testing, integration testing, and system level testing.
  • Develop lab test tools, and support development of routine testing methods/systems for production systems.
  • Produce clear documentation for firmware design and test results.
  • Support identification and troubleshooting of discovered field issues, customisation requirements, create solutions, and disseminate knowledge.
  • Contribute to all phases of the firmware development life cycle including requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and release to ensure high quality production code.
  • Work closely with R&D team, field applications, and production teams for specifications, design, prototyping, and fabrication locally and remotely.
  • Contribute in selecting microcontrollers, schematics review, power management strategy, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of power, digital, and analog circuit.
  • Finding root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and product improvement as well as in field escalations.
  •  Provide technical guidance and support to the software team.
  • Contribute in related technology roadmaps, features development, next generation product.
  • Plan and schedule to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Mentor junior engineers with an emphasis on controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or other related field.
  • Possess minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good understanding and strong interests in power electronics, control and stability, topologies (e.g., AC/DC, PFC, DC/DC, DC/AC, LLC and resonant converter), analog/digital circuit.
  • Solid experience with embedded software development, firmware design, real time control and implementation in microcontrollers, DSPs.
  • Good programming skills (C/C++/assembly, python) and familiar with various development platform (microcontrollers, Linux, etc.) and development tools (compilers and debuggers).
  • Strong knowledge in various industrial communication protocol and the implementation (UART, USB, SPI, I2C, RS-485, CAN, CAN-FD, ISO-15118, IEC 61851).
  • Strong practical knowledge on schematics, engineering specs, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, including familiarity with equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, etc.).
  • Familiar with good development practices including design and code reviews, testing and regression, revision control, release, and user documentation.
  • Experience with Agile development methods such as Kanban or Scrum.

Finance

In this role, The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting process, including but not limited to financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and budgeting. The accountant will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts include preparing monthly audit schedules and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
  • Issue payment, purchase orders and monitor cash flows and projection.
  • Payroll processing and CPF submission.
  • Review & process employees’ expense claims.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Perform quarterly GST submissions
  • Monitor & tally inter-company transactions.
  • Prepare Proforma Invoice / Tax Invoice, Delivery Order & Shipping Documents, work with Sales Team & Deployment Team to post sales orders and follow up on payment from customers and submit invoice to customers’ portal.
  • Liaise with inter-company fulfillment team and finance team for goods exporting to customer/SG inventory.
  • Liaise with external parties like corporate secretary, tax agent, auditors, government authorities where required.
  • Inventory control and processing of accounting transactions for inventories
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual income statement, balance sheet and cashflows statement
  • Liaise with internal employees on issues that arise anytime.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or ACCA/CPA.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experiences and exposure in general and cost accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience in Xero and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of ERP, and experience in ERP implementation preferred.
